The ability to influence is an essential component to create significant change. To influence is to impact the behaviors, attitudes, opinions, and choices of others. My strategy to influence my organization is targeting both motivation and ability at the personal, social, and structural level to change vital behaviors and achieve my desired goal. Let’s take a look at the model I am planning to use to support my innovation plan.
Goal
90% of our Engineering club sessions will be delivered using Blended learning stations for the 2021-22 school Year.
Vital Behaviors
Ownership
Teachers and administrators will do Blended Learning.
Integration
Teachers will integrate Blended Learning into the Engineering Club curriculum.
Commitment
Teachers will hold each other accountable and share their progress, experiences, and resources.
Measurement
Evaluate how well-Blended Learning is being accomplished in the classroom and how often it is integrated into the curriculum based on our pilot program’s goal.
Focus
Target: Engineering Club teachers
Organizational influencers: Students participating in the club, CYD Galveston(Club’s sponsor), Leadership Team, School teachers, and Parents.
